Last year, when oil prices hovered around $100 per barrel, we knew this was coming. ExxonMobil, the company that produces only 3% of the world's oil, has beat it's own record profits. In 2006, ExxonMobil earned $39.5 billion in profits, while in 2007 it reached $40.6 billion.
